Richard Spinks - Chief Executive Officer
Richard Spinks, a British national resident in the Ukraine, has been working in Central and Eastern Europe for over 22 years. He has experience in the food processing, agriculture and forestry/biomass industries, with a specific focus on business development within these sectors in Eastern Europe and Ukraine. From 2004 to 2009, Mr. Spinks was the founder and chief executive officer at Landkom International Plc, one of the first AIM-listed companies that was based in Ukraine. Prior to Landkom, he held a number of roles in the seafood sector from 2001 to 2004.
Colin Hill - Non-Executive Chairman
Colin Hill, 67, was elected as a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountant in 1968 and in 2012 achieved the status of Chartered Global Management Accountant. Between 1963 and 1981 Mr Hill gained experience primarily in special project work including; value engineering, systems development and implementation, investigations, and task force project work. Since 1981 Mr Hill has worked as a freelance consultant to a number of private and public companies. Between 1997 and 2008 Mr Hill was Group Chief Financial Officer of Arlington Group plc (a small-cap company in the private equity, venture capital and proprietary trading space). He is currently Chief Financial Officer of Xenetic Biosciences plc, a UK-based life sciences company with a range of patented technologies and an expanding proprietary drug product pipeline.
Giuseppe (Joseph) Valoroso - Non-Executive Director
Joseph Valoroso, a dual Italian and Canadian national, is currently resident in Canada and has significant experience in substantial commercial logging operations. Between 1972 and 1987 Mr. Valoroso established and developed a leading logging operation in Northern British Columbia, supplying timber to mills and wood processing companies throughout the region, producing up to 3,000m3 of timber per day. He later went on to gain expertise in the construction of the roads and bridges needed to access new logging territories.
In 1987 Mr. Valoroso moved to Italy, where he founded and operated a chain of supermarkets. Mr. Valoroso returned to Canada in 1993 and founded Valoroso Foods Limited, a leading importer and distributor of Italian and European products to the Canadian food and drink industries. Mr. Valoroso continues to act as President of Valoroso Foods Limited and is a director of a number of other Canadian private companies.
